Temporally expressed genes from the gene expression microarray dataset have been integrated with a microRNA expression microarray dataset in which putative target gene information of microRNA was obtained from the MicroRNA Database (miRDB version 4.0; http://mirdb.org). Pairs of gene and microRNA showing statistically significant negative correlations are selected by using a random sampling-based permutation method.
