Effect of CTM on LPS-induced PGE 2 production in RAW 264.7 cells. (A) PGE2 production was measured in RAW 264.7 cells treated with different concentrations of CTM and CTC (62, 125, 250, 500 μg/ml) for 1 h, then incubated with LPS (10 μg/ml) for 24 h. (B) PGE2 production in culture supernatants was measured after macrophages (2 × 106 cells/ml) were primed with IFN-γ (0.5 ng/ml) for 2 h and then stimulated with LPS (1 μg/ml) in the presence of CTM and CTC for 18 h. Values are means ± SDs of three separate experiments. (# p < 0.05 vs. the non-treated control group; * p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 vs. the LPS-treated group).
