  1. aThe tested samples were the methanol extract from the bark of Artocarpus communis (ACB), isolated compounds, 1: peruvianursenyl acetate C; 2: α-amyrenol or viminalol; 3: sitosterol 3-O- ß-D-glucopyranoside; 4: artonin E; 5: 2-[(3,5-dihydroxy)-(Z)-4-(3-methylbut-1-enyl)phenyl]benzofuran-6-ol and chloramphenicol (for bacteria) and nystatin (for C. albicans) used as the reference antibiotics (RA);
